Carbon Measurement & Offset

Abstract Website Box Graphic

Achieve Net-Zero

Carbon Calculator Results

You can’t manage what you don’t measure. Age-old words that ring particularly true in the race to Net Zero. At Zentive, we measure and reduce carbon from the beginning of the event process to include site visits, client/supplier meetings, ad-hoc activities as well as all emissions from the event itself. As we measure these emissions from the start of the project, it provides a more accurate estimated total giving the best chance of offsetting all emissions to create a Net-Zero event.

Post-event, once the carbon calculation is finalised, we can conclude how much carbon was emitted as a direct result of the event. With this information, we can compare the results to previous events, or if the event was in a different location, to establish how much carbon was saved. Most notably, we can also offset these carbon emissions to label the event as carbon neutral or Net Zero.

We work closely with a number of partners and projects that can reduce and sequester carbon whilst contributing to other benefits such as restored ecosystems and biodiversity, sustainable livelihoods for local communities, cleaner water systems and other socio-economics benefits for developing nations.

Many people think of carbon offsetting as just planting a few trees, but they are so much more than that and can offer a variety of other benefits as well as contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Check out some of our favourite Carbon Offset projects you can invest in.
